We installed a permanent exhibit dedicated to steel production „Steel – Fabric of Life“, which is to show visitors the production process in a simple way.
Our permanent exhibit includes steelmaking process step by step from transformation of pig iron into steel, continuous casting, slitting, rolling, pressing up to a final product which symbolizes a small spoon. During the first anniversary the exhibit received as a gift new animated movie about steel which is an essential part of the world around us. In the practical part of the exhibit visitors produce a spoon which is a witty souvenir. We also prepared for schools a sample lesson on iron and steel making with active features in order to motivate young people to study technical majors.
