Rolling Mills
Rolling Mills produce and supply rolled products both for domestic and foreign market.Finishing lines represents two section-rolling mills and a wire-rod mill, which provide a wide assortment of profiles and wire rod.
The heavy section mill (HSM) produces heavy and medium section steel from simple bars through shaped sections up to special sections. The mill also produces reinforcing sections (mine supports) and flat steel with width from 130mm up to 170mm.
The wire rod mill (WRM) manufactures hot rolled steel wire from the diameter of 5,5 mm up to 14 mm.
The medium and fine section mill (MFSM) produces a wide range of hot rolled long products – fine and medium steel sections of basic shapes, ribbed reinforcing bars , U sections up to the size of 120mm and some special steel sections.
The hot strip mill P1500 manufactures strips from structural carbon steel, structural steel with increased resistence, structural steel for forming and a deep cold forming, structural low alloyed (with increased resistence to atmospheric corrosion; for electro-technical purposes; dual phase) and micro alloyed steel. The thickness of hot-rolled strips ranges from 1.5-15 mm, and the width stretches from 740 to 1535 mm. The strips are finished with flat surface or with oval stumps.
