Coke Oven Plant
Coke Oven Plant is the largest coke producer in the Czech Republic. The coke oven batteries with stamp charging and a large-capacity coke oven battery with top charging produce 1,5 million tons of coke per year. In By-Product Plant the chemical products (crude tar, crude benzol, liquid sulphur, coke oven gas) are produced, which are together with coke successfully exported to the domestic and foreign markets.
The Coke Oven Plant technology is on very high environmental level. The coke and coke-chemical products production has been certified by RW TÜV and meets standards ČSN EN ISO 9001:2001 and 14001 requirements. Since 2000 the Coke Oven Plant has been awarded as „Safe Plant“.
