Cooperation with schools
As far as education is concerned we try to make technical, scientific and environmental education on all levels of schools more attractive.
Technical professions offer perspective to young people still they are considered by the public to be of a secondary importance. It is necessary to change the view of elementary school pupils on technical education and support development of technical thinking in children from an early age.
We prepare annual Open Days the aim of which is to show them that they don’t have to be afraid of technical studies.
We contribute to middle schools on projects which help students gain practical and manual skills. We provide students with free internship as well as practical apprenticeship training for apprentices who get practical skills under supervision of experts throughout the school year.
We cooperate in a long term with Ostrava Technical University in science and research and development. We focus on environmental projects, new technologies development and product quality improvement. Every year we award top ten students and select the best thesis. We also support the biggest job fair in the region which is held at Ostrava Technical University.
